Biological Irradiation | Faxitron Bioptics LLC

Biological Irradiation is used in a variety of fundamental and applied research studies. Historically, radioisotope irradiators have been used which require transportation of specimens to a core irradiation facility. Today, smaller, safer, simpler and less costly X-ray irradiators are available for placement in the research lab, even on the bench top. Specimens can be irradiated directly in the lab without compromising sterility or security. The systems are easy to use for those with no prior X-ray training and there are no costly licensing, security, or source maintenance fees.
