43855 Series
Too widely accepted to be renamed, the “alphabet series” as the Faxitron 43855 Series is sometimes called, is available in models C through F with many options to choose from to best meet your specific application. These include microfocus and high kV x-ray sources, digital scanners, and real-time imaging components. Real-time image acquisition is achieved through the use of an x-ray image intensifier coupled with a high resolution CCD camera. Nine inch, 6", and 4" image area intensifier packages are offered. The magnification factor and image resolution will vary with intensifier selection. The high resolution video image is analyzed with image processing software and stored for later review. Inspection samples are oriented for optimum imaging with either a 3- or 5-axis motorized manipulator with joystick control.
However configured, all 43855 models are safe and reliable, provide long life, and excellent value. All models are simple to operate and require no radiographic training. - The 62-inch tall 43855C that provides film-to-source distances from 14" to 52"
